<image:caption>Tobias Keene, D.D.S. Hailing from Richmond, Virginia, Dr. Tobias Keene brings a bit of unabashed Southern hospitality to all his patients. He moved to Washington, D.C. over thirty years ago as a freshman at Ivy College. Right after graduation, he attended World University’s School of Dentistry. Before opening Keene Dental in 1994, he worked for free clinics and some of the finest practices in the District. He is part of the 123 Dental Association and stays up-to-date on the latest dental discoveries. When not striving to keep his patients happy and healthy, he’s enjoys hiking with his family in Rock Creek Park.</image:caption>

<image:caption>India has worked in fitness in NYC for a decade. She teaches Physical Education at Barnard College and Columbia University, where she has also worked with Women’s Swim as a trainer. She has held many gym jobs (from spin instructor to Crossfit coach), but has settled into a kind of training that emphasizes accessibility and longevity. She is an ACE Certified Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor and has completed a special program for orthopedic exercise. When she’s not working in fitness, India is a writer. She is currently a graduate student at City College (MFA Creative Writing) and attended undergraduate at Barnard College (Theater). More information on her writing is available at www.indiachoquette.com. India is open to working with all clients. She is particularly open to sliding scale clients, especially queer, BIPOC, and clients with disabilities. <image:title>About - We believe in building up the basics. Our sessions focus on building strength, endurance, and flexibility.</image:title>
<image:caption>Our sessions are designed to meet you where you are at. We hope to cultivate a relationship with movement that you can carry throughout your life. That means that we are looking for the appropriate intensity, modifications, and skills for every client. Every body is different, and everyone has different goals. Whether your goal is to carry your groceries up your walk up, to touch your toes, to lift your nephew, or to dance the night away, we are looking to support you. We do not focus on di*ts or weight l*ss. We practice body neutrality, which is a mindset that de-centers the physical appearance and function and, instead, focuses on action and intellectual life. For example, instead of training to look a certain way for vacation, we would think about building the stamina to swim in the ocean or we would focus on the practice of presence movement so that you can stay present on the vacation. Instead of focusing on “fixing” a body part that isn’t functioning “properly” (say, a wrist that is giving you trouble), we would explore ways of moving that allow that body part to rest.</image:caption>
